TORONTO ISLAND ANNUAL PICNIC

We were in luck in terms of being able to access the islands. Due to severe flooding over the last few months they had been closed to the public and only opened on Monday. Donna, Ann, Merel and I met early at the terminal.

It was necessary to check all 83 members in and provide them with their lunch tickets. Ann and Merel did the paperwork while Donna and I directed them over to the check in.

Donna, todays leader is seen in relaxed mode before taking on her duties

Those that checked in early were able to relax too

Stanley as immaculate as ever, pristine white shirt and shiny boots!

We boarded the 11:00 am ferry to Centre Island and we passed the 107 year old Trillium Ferry Boat which as about to resume service after a re-fit

Enjoying the ride
