Despite the rainy weather Ann and I checked out the route for a future Bus Hike in September. We drove to Erindale Park and started our walk along the Fulham Trail
The trail follows the Credit River which today was running energetically down to the Lake
Eventually we passed under the Burnhamthorpe Bridge to begin our accent to the Ringwood Conservancy
Leaving Fulham Trail we picked up the Red Trail
We reached the Conservancy and explored the beautiful gardens
After further exploration of the area we discovered several side trails which we can add to the official hike in September. Satisfied we made our way back along the Fulham Trail stopping to eat our sandwiches by the river
Reaching the end of the trail we spotted a bridge for a photo opportunity
While today's route was a short one we are confident we can add on a couple more interesting kilometres when the time comes
