27 Rainy Day People gathered at the corner of Hickory Tree Rd and Lawrence Ave for a hike south along the raging Humber River

When the Presidents speak we all listen
Ilo informed the group that ice on parts of the path maybe a factor. Undeterred we marched on
Remains of the original footbridge destroyed by Hurricane Hazel 1954. 14 homes on Raymore Drive were swept away killing 32 residents in one hour!

I would estimate today's hike was 10 km. I forgot to start mapping the walk which is about 0.5 km short. For those that made it to the Pub you can add 1.5 km to your total

Despite the rain and the ice underfoot it was a grand day's outing. Thanks to Ilo for leading and keeping the group safe. Thank you to Susan volunteering as Sweep and Liliane for counting the numbers again.
