CENTENNIAL PARK
I joined Barry for my second Senior Hiking Club walk. Today there was less people, about 30. We walked around the Centennial Park area. The pace was much better than last week. We covered about 6 miles. I learn't of some new paths particularly west of the Etobicoke Greenhouses. We ended the walk where we started and had a refreshing pint at a pub in the Burnhamthorpe Plaza.

MY FIRST SENIOR HIKE
I joined Barry and his Sister in Law, Hilda, on a walk with the Toronto Senior Hiking Club. We took the subway to Greenwood Station and met up with the group. It turned out to be popular as 54 members hiked down to the "Lion on the Beach" pub on Queen Street East. Midway we stopped for lunch at a Baptist Church on Gerrard Street East where the club held it's AGM. The meeting shortened the walk considerably. I enjoyed the walk and decided to join the club. Annual membership fee was only $10.
